About The NW Fly Tyer and Fly Fishing Expo
For the past 27 years the Oregon Council of The International Federation of Fly Fishers (ORCIFFF) has sponsored the Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo. The Expo is always on the 2nd weekend in March held at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany, Oregon.
The revenues generated by the Expo are used by the Oregon Council to provide the following educational programs and to continue sponsoring the Expo every year.
- Two $1,500 scholarships yearly to Oregon State University for students majoring in fishery management.
- Conservation Grant Program – IFFF Oregon Clubs apply for conservation grants of their own and for other organizations throughout the state.
- Club Grant Program – IFFF Oregon Clubs apply for club grants to help them with club projects and supplies to help in their local club.

The Mission of the Oregon Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers is to improve Fly Fishing in Oregon, by providing information to fly fishers to improve their skills, by preserving and expanding fly fishing opportunities and by improving fish habitats.
About The Federation of Fly Fishers
The Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) is an organization founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1965. The FFF was formed to give fly fishing a unified voice, to promote fly fishing as a method of angling and to protect and expand fly fishing opportunities.
The FFF is now international in scope. The International Federation of Fly Fishers has active membership throughout the world. The IFFF has hundreds of member clubs and thousands of individual members.
