This is a tying class for intermediate tyers. We will be tying a wire segmented golden stone fly. The class will demonstrate how to use several strands of wire to create the segments of the stone fly. Students will also learn techniques for creating wing casing and adding legs. Tools needed: Vise, Tying Thread and Bobbin - 6/0 or 7/0 denier, Scissors, Bodkin, Hackle Pliers, Needle Nose Pliers, Head Cement, and Optionally: Bead Tweezers, Zap a Gap, UV Cement - Thin, and UV Light.
