Tyer – Marty Howard

Absorbed by fishing from the moment he laid cast with rod and fly, Marty Howard is a driven soul. His first steelhead fly produced at the vise, a California wet fly, prompted a lifelong consuming addiction. His desire to master every aspect of the sport has yielded opportunities throughout the fly fishing experience. Skilled in the fabrication of both fly and rod, Howard’s quality of design and artistry is top-tier. His passion for the two-handed rod has taken him all over the world in pursuit of anadromous beauties. His early goal to attain expertise in macro photography is clearly evident within the pages of Steelhead Fly Tying Art and Design, a book he co-authored with Dec Hogan. Howard is a steelhead fanatic. He and his wife Christine reside in Heber City, Utah. Visit https://www.atthevise.com/#/ for more information.
